Australia has won the world cup 2015 semi-final match with India today. It was a magnificent victory we should admit it. India couldn’t perform well today and lost the chance of bringing the world cup home. But we should admit the fact that India played very well in the overall tournament and reaching to the semi final is also a big achievement. India has gained a remarkable position in world cricket. It has improved itself in batting, bowling and fielding and has given chance to young faces.
I was watching today’s match closely. I was a little disappointed but soon came a thought in my mind that the young players are still playing the match with all their effort. Even after a point of time when Victory of Australia was clear, our batsmen were trying their best in the struggle to minimize the run gap.
I really praise the game they played and their positive attitude. I thank our captain M.S. Dhoni for his leadership in the team. He constantly backed up the players and motivated them. He has shown great faith in the team. I am thankful to him that he has brought Indian cricket to such heights. When the match was over I was eagerly waiting for the presentation ceremony to listen to our captain. I wanted to know how our captain was feeling. One of his line has inspired me:
Dhoni: Yes Dhawan could have played easy shorts at that time… but this game has given experience to our players. It will definitely help us in our up-coming matches.
This is the spirit which a team expect from his captain. He didn’t blamed anyone. It was a big match and they played their best.
but yes it is a game and only one can win…
I request everyone to greet The Indian team when they come back. They should find our hand on their shoulders. Playing the world cup semi-final is not a small achievement.
Thank you Captain. I wish you stay longer with the team and help it to become finest. Thank to the Indian cricket team for they have given us the joy in all its previous matches. I don’t know about all but I become equally happy each time India wins a match, be it the cricket world cup or any other match.
One thing which I would like to tell that guys please be modest with your words and behaviour. When I heard that people our there were blaming Anushka Sharma for Virat Kohli’s bad performance in the match…
Please don’t underestimate Virat Kohli. He is still the best. Anushka was there to cheer Virat and the Indian team.
We are in India and here we give respect and special importance to women. Our words should not be such that it may hurt someone and make her sad…
